Wrenn House provides a safe, legal, and responsible environment for youth who run away from home, who are homeless, or are otherwise in a crisis situation. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Wrenn House is available to any youth age 10 – 17, with priority given to youth from Wake County and Raleigh. For 30 years, Wrenn House has served those experiencing crisis by providing a diverse range of services including: temporary shelter, counseling, case management, referrals, and a variety of life skills, all within a therapeutic and safe environment that promotes individuality and empowers youth and families.

The Arc of Bay County provides advocacy through education, employment, and volunteerism for person with intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Arc provides a variety of advocacy and outreach programs, including workshops and presentations to educate people on issues that affect the quality of life for people with disabilities, Social Security advocacy and counseling for those unfamiliar with the Social Secutity process, representative payee services to help manage the financials of the individuals, and Project Lifesaver to help speed up the recovery of individuals who wander due to Alzheimer's, autism, and other related conditions.
