The Veterans’ Legal Aid Society was founded to fill a critical need to assist Veterans who are Illinois residents and their families in seeking aid and attendance benefits, as well as provide income-based legal aid services to Veterans of limited means. There are few legal PR actioners who specialize in this area, and consequently, many Veterans receive little help in filing the myriad forms required to receive non-service related pension benefits. The Veterans’ Legal Aid Society firmly believes that it must do everything to ensure that they receive the care, dignity, and benefits that they have so rightfully earned. Veterans’ Legal Aid Society is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the IRS.
