The Avenue Family Network provides a variety of programs to foster the development of community, family, and individual potential to support healthy and self-sufficient lives for children, families, and adults. Some of the Avenue's programs include adult day services, adult in-home care services, a center for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and a guardianship program to care for developmentally disabled, mentally-ill, and otherwise vulnerable adults.
Baldwin House provides apartments especially designed for seniors 55 years and older. Baldwin House allows active seniors to pursue more independent living, with care services including engaging activites, daily meals, housekeeping, transportation, and an on-site health care provider. Amenities include daily breakfast, a midday and evening meal program, personal care services and a visiting physician, and more.
The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Center, located in midtown Detroit, is the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer center in metro Detroit and one of just 51 centers of its kind in the United States. This means patients can access treatments exclusive to Karmanos as well as clinical trials, cancer prevention programs and multidisciplinary teams of cancer specialists to help handle cases that are more complex.
The mission of the Bay Area Women's Center (BAWC) is to eliminate domestic violence and sexual assault. BAWC provides free-of-charge crisis intervention, advocacy and safe haven to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as violence prevention education to the community. BAWC provides a toll-free crisis line, an emergency shelter, counseling, support groups, children and teen programs for those impacted by domestic and sexual violence, a sexual assault program that works with survivors of sexual violence and provides medical services, affordable and transitional housing programs, legal advocacy, and more.

The Bay County Child and Senior Citizen Center provides education, recreation, and social activities for children between the ages of two weeks and 13 years as well as adults over 59. The Center also provides meal programs and transportation to sponsored activities for children and senior citizens.
