The Detroit Institute for Children (DIC) currently serves more than 5,000 children with special needs in schools, Head Start, and Early Intervention programs throughout Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. The DIC provides speech language pathology, occupational therapies, social work, psychological services and special education consulting. The DIC is also currently offering a free teletherapy-based summer enrichment program that provides 2 hours of speech therapy and 2 hours of occupational therapy activities each week.

The Federation of Youth Services (FYS) is a private, non-profit State of Michigan-licensed child care agency, which provide services to at-risk youth ages 16-20 on a non-sectarian basis. FYS provides housing, mental health resources, employment connections and educational and life skills support to youth and young adults to help create opportunities for youth, especially those aging out of foster care, to become independent. FYS operates independent living supportive housing, host homes, and unsupervised housing programs, all with ongoing case management services.
