Our outpatient clinics offer a full array of behavioral health services to both children and adults. Services may include assessment, psychiatric interventions, therapy and counseling (provided in individual, family, and groups), medication, residential or inpatient programs, case management, vocational services, and living skills training. Other supportive services, such as peer support services, health promotion, and family support services are also offered, geared towards helping individuals and families develop additional self-awareness and specialized recovery skills to improve independent functioning and quality of life. All services are provided by qualified behavioral health staff and are driven by a service plan developed by the client and the client’s child and family team or adult recovery team.

Hep C Program Community Medical Services is excited to announce the expansion of our hepatitis C (HCV) services. CMS has developed partnerships with specialty providers to assist with caring for clients seeking HCV screening and treatment. In our pilot in Arizona, we screened 237 CMS clients. Of those screened, 42 tests detected HCV and 14 clients successfully completed the treatment regimen! This is a collaborative effort involving multiple departments and positions including medical providers, counselors, peer support specialists, nurses, and front desk staff. HCV testing and treatment will be incorporated into treatment plans so clinicians can stay engaged and regularly discuss the topic with our clients. CMS anticipates we will be providing HCV screening to all clients by the end of Summer 2021. The HCV program is aligned with CMS’ value to meet people where they are at and continue to address public health issues that stem from the opioid crisis.   Opioid Treatment on Demand (OTOD) At CMS, we believe in breaking down barriers to care in creative and innovative ways. Most notably, we opened the nation’s first 24/7 opioid treatment program (OTP) in Phoenix. We have since gone on to expand this Opioid Treatment on Demand (OTOD) model, providing extended hours, to Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio and West Allis, Wisconsin, and Mesa, Arizona. At CMS, we focus on meeting the challenges presented by the ever-growing opioid epidemic in communities lacking treatment options. OTODs are uniquely positioned to provide community support by expanding hours beyond the traditional 4:30am to 11:30am treatment model. At CMS,...

Variety empowers children with physical and developmental disabilities, also referred to as children with special needs, and improves their quality of life. Our programs highlight ability rather than disability. This holistic approach gives access to critical medical equipment and therapies, along with innovative Camp and Performing Arts programs, which provide opportunities for recreation, socialization, and artistic expression. Children gain or maintain independence, boost socialization among their friends and family, demonstrate belief in themselves, and increase skills they need to engage their world as fully as possible.

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) uses a holistic—or integrated—approach to addiction treatment and behavioral health concerns. We take each person’s unique traits and issues into account to design a treatment plan. Using a combination of education, therapy, housing, medications, peer support, inspiration, hope and other supportive services, our solutions are never one-size-fits-all. People are unique, and their treatment plan should be too. CBI’s passionate and dedicated team of medical and behavioral health professionals share a common philosophy to attend to the needs of our communities. With a mission of maintaining the dignity of human life, we can’t help but be agents of positive change in our communities. Many of our employees are peers and they have been in your shoes. Peers are the heart of CBI, and they know exactly what it takes to help you discover the road to recovery. They provide daily assistance, hope, education, and support to people through treatment. Most importantly peers give our patients the individual care they need at the time they need it.
