The Connect Five Veterans Foundation (C5VF) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization whose mission is offering help & support to veterans, their families and provide educational and awareness opportunities to its communities. C5VF operates the Emperor's Pride Project, dedicated to a veteran working dog who was severely injured in the line of duty and was able to continue his life as a registered service dog. Through the Emperor's Pride Project, C5VF raises funds to assist veterans with maintenance expenses for their service dogs.

The Friends of the North Oakland County Veterans Treatment Court (NOCVTC) is comprised of a group of Veterans and community volunteers with one very specific goal: to assist the Veterans Treatment Court in helping struggling veterans assimilate back into civilian life by removing obstacles that are preventing the veteran from staying focused on a healthy lifestyle. NOCVTC provides help to veterans in the form of resources/general assistance (i.e., providing emergency funds, clothing, etc), emotional support and mentorship, as well as education.
