Clarkston for Life is a community well-being initiative focusing on the social, emotional, physical and spiritual health of all residents from ages 0-100+. Clarkston for Life provides educational activities and programming, with activities divided into categories for reading, watching, listening, attending, and doing, and seasons being dedicated to different aspects of well-being.

CityLinC is a non-profit, faith-based organization whose primary focus is helping high-risk children and youth, as well as their families, in times of crisis and transition. Transitional housing is affordable supportive housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons who are homeless or who are close to homelessness. The transition is to help them be more self sufficient to move towards independent living on their own. Transitional housing locations are oftentimes called Halfway Houses.
