The Peace Neighborhood Center runs programs to help children, families, and individuals achieve self-sufficiency and get involved with their community. Services include advocacy, emergency assistance, after-school programs, summer day camps, college and career prep, individual and family counseling, and family enrichment. Temporary housing is also offered for families through the Peace House Transitional Housing Center as they work to get back on their feet.

The Schaumburg Teen Center is operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin. Activities and programs encourage personal development in a supportive, accepting, and safe environment. The Teen Center is open to junior high and high school students, ages 12-19. Teens must show proof of age and complete an application with their parent's signature to obtain admission.
