Give Merit exists to enhance and extend educational opportunities to youth through innovative enrichment, mentorship, and athletic activities. Give Merit's key program is the FATE Program, a 4-year cohort-based program that combines project-based learning, character development, career exposure, and mentoring; each student who maintains the standards set by Give Merit and graduates from high school and is accepted in a college or university also receives a $5,000 scholarship towards their education.

The First In Families local Chapters offer support to families and individuals according to their self-defined needs. Examples of supports include computers, home furnishings or modifications, childcare or respite, or repairs to vehicles. Support can also be the connecting of an individual to vocational, social, and educational opportunities in the community; whatever it takes - for people to live and participate fully in their community.
