The Mission of the Buncombe County Social Work Services is to partner with individuals, families and communities to strengthen their efforts toward independence, permanence and safety. We aim to prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable citizens and promote self-reliance and self-sufficiency for individuals and families. Calhoun County Medical Care Facility (CCMCF) provides 24-hour professional services to its residents, while the Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care Center engages clients with recreational and social activities.
