Catholic Charities of Southeast Michigan (CCSEM) serves the most vulnerable of the community, providing an array of social services in Lapeer, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair and Wayne Counties. CCSEM's wide variety of services include adoption and foster care, a soup kitchen and food pantry, behavioral health counseling, family support services, legal and social services for Spanish-speaking immigrants, pregnancy services, and services for seniors.

Founded in 1967, and located in the heart of the Charleston Historic District, Charleston Area Senior Citizens, Inc. is a non-profit agency serving Berkeley, Charleston and Dorchester Counties. CASC helps seniors through a variety of services. Most CASC programs and services target low income seniors and are offered at no charge, primarily serving those who cannot pay. Although CASC utilizes federal, state, local funds and private donations, community support is what makes the difference in changing seniors’ lives. We provide an opportunity for all community members to help needy seniors.

It offers primary medical care for children and adults, as well as prenatal care and women’s health services, OB/GYN, behavioral health services, vaccines and flu shots, HIV testing, and STI testing and treatment. It also offers support services for the whole family including care coordination, Healthy Start and assistance with insurance and Medicaid benefits. Its bilingual staff assists patients in both English and Spanish. The doctors and medical staff provide the most compassionate healthcare regardless of ability to pay.
