Child Advocacy's goal is to improve the welfare of children and their families through education, training, and support for the prevention of substance abuse, child abuse, and neglect. Services they offer include parenting classes, foster/adoptive/relative care support groups, programs for youth, a baby pantry, car seat inspections, a library complete with video resources for kids and parents, abuse and neglect prevention programs, legal advocates for children, and educational campaigns.

The Eddie Beard Homeless Veterans’ Housing Program (Vet House) targets veterans who have lived on the streets, in emergency shelters, in places not meant for human habitation or released from an institution where they resided for less than 90 days and were homeless prior to being institutionalized.

Wrenn House provides a safe, legal, and responsible environment for youth who run away from home, who are homeless, or are otherwise in a crisis situation. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Wrenn House is available to any youth age 10 – 17, with priority given to youth from Wake County and Raleigh. For 30 years, Wrenn House has served those experiencing crisis by providing a diverse range of services including: temporary shelter, counseling, case management, referrals, and a variety of life skills, all within a therapeutic and safe environment that promotes individuality and empowers youth and families.
