Emergency Shelter Services Inc. of Berrien County, Michigan's (ESS) mission is to provide temporary housing for families and single parents with children and assist these families in finding permanent homes. ESS also operates a Learning Center that provides educational services for children, hosts life skills classes, and maintains the 6 Degrees Resale Store, which sells donated new or like-new items including clothing, furniture, toys, bedding, and more.
