The mission of Hospitality House is to minimize deprivation in the community by providing food and assistance to those in need, while maintaining the utmost respect for the dignity of the individual. Hospitality House works to fulfill this mission by operating a food pantry and providing referral services. In addition, Hospitality House also provides emergency short-term housing for individuals or families who are at risk of imminent homelessness, a grant-based vehicle repair service, and utility assistance.
The Alpena Senior Citizens Center provides a variety of services to promote and protect the dignity, independence, and welfare of older adults throughout Alpena County. The Center provides daily meals and meal delivery, offers in-home services like homemaking and personal care, respite care services, a Medicaid assistance program, a medical supply closet, transportation assistance, medication management, resources for relatives to help care for children, and support groups.
Adkins Village Senior Housing offers affordable living for seniors age 62 or older. Adkins Village provides housing facilities and services specially designed to meet the physical, social, and psychological needs of seniors to help promote their health, security, and happiness.
