The Mission of the Buncombe County Social Work Services is to partner with individuals, families and communities to strengthen their efforts toward independence, permanence and safety. We aim to prevent abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable citizens and promote self-reliance and self-sufficiency for individuals and families. Our staff is committed to providing Buncombe's diverse population with effective services in a timely and respectful manner.
