The Douglas Center is a non-profit organization that provides community day services for individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. The center provides services for 138 clients on a daily basis. The current facility boasts 40,000 square feet and comprehensive programming, empowering participants to make choices for their personal growth and development. It services individuals with disabilities from ages 18 to 100 residing in Chicago, Skokie, and surrounding suburbs. The center provides unique opportunities for acquiring skills for future employment to learning to manage their disability as they get older. Its comprehensive programs, clinical services, training programs, employment opportunities and seniors program are focused on assisting each individual in the management of their disabilities, while building of self-esteem and developing and/or improving existing social, work and independent living skills.

The Resource Training Centers educational program, (TRTC) is a job training and placement non-profit organization that prepares low-income individuals, mostly former substance abusers, many of whom have also been homeless and incarcerated to enter the workforce as credentialed drug counselors (CASAC) and other substance abuse professionals. We offer support services to individuals who may experience difficulty gaining employment due to their history of alcohol and drug use, incarceration related to addictions, or complications related to addictive disorders within the family. Our training and vocational counseling allows individuals who are ineligible to receive governmental employment assistance to complete a state-approved training program and gain the experience to take the examination to become Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselors.

Centro de Información empowers Hispanics with the ability to effectively integrate into our greater community through the facilitation of information, education, citizenship and well-being. It is a not-for-profit social services agency that provides bilingual advocacy at our locations in Elgin, Carpentersville, and Hanover Park for more than 15,000 immigrants every year. Centro serves mostly low-income, Hispanic immigrants residing in the greater Fox Valley area, but welcomes clients of any nationality from surrounding counties and states.
