The New York Asian Women's Center (NYAWC) strives to help abused Asian women overcome violence and govern their own lives, free of abuse. The Center also works to raise public awareness about domestic violence, advocate for the rights of abused women, and create an agenda for social change.

This is done by providing technical support and assistance to rape crisis centers, working legislatively to improve public policy, and confronting societal denial of the impact of sexual violence through statewide outreach and education.

Our mission is to help program participants effect those changes in attitude and behavior that will enable them to make choices associated with a healthy, positive lifestyle free of crime and drugs. Stay'n Out develops innovative programs providing substance abuse treatment and complementary human services to enhance the life of the community.
