Oakland Mediation Center (OMC) provides conflict resolution and education services that are affordable and quickly empower community members, families, businesses, courts and schools to resolve conflict. OMC is an apolitical, non-profit, volunteer-based Community Dispute Resolution Program (CDRP) center whose volunteers represent and serve the community.
Established in 1998, Mayor's Office on Domestic Violence contracts with the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Womens Network to operate the Help Line. Callers to the Help Line are provided with general domestic violence information, referrals to appropriate domestic violence services and a three-way phone linkage between the caller and the domestic violence services. Trained domestic violence advocates – Victim Information and Referral Advocates (VIRAs) – staff the phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. VIRAs provide victims with immediate information about their options, information on safety planning, referrals to community based providers including: Shelters Counseling Legal advocacy Civil legal services Supervised child visitation centers Perpetrators services

The One Hundred Club of Bay County was created to acknowledge and repay the people who have risked their lives to protect ours by providing benefits to the families of police officers, emergency personnel, firefighters, and other first response officers in Bay County who are killed in the line of duty. Within 24 hours of a crisis, the Club will provide the family with a check for $3,000 to help pay for immediate expenses.
