A co-worker of mine is very selfish and lies a lot. Her values don’t align to mine but I still have to work with her. She hasn’t done anything to me particularly, just people on my team. She’s a high level executive. Anger comes out in my voice when I speak to and about her. This year I need to let go and forgive her for the pain she’s put people through. Any tips?
Ive been a similar situation. I found myself trying to stick up for other co-workers, but they themselves wouldnt say anything directly. It was always complaints behind the bosses back. I pulled away from my coworkers that just complained to me and did some breathing exercises to help release the tension that would build within me. It didnt fix the boss but it did help me to be more relaxed.
