The Shelter Association of Washtenaw County (SAWC) provides many services for those struggling with homelessness. Some services offered include a residential shelter program with case managers, a non-residential program for those who don’t require a shelter stay, a warming center and rotating shelter in the winter, a recuperative care program for those in need of a place to recover and receive medical supervision, a transitional program for those coming from an outpatient detox program elsewhere, and an on-site health clinic and kitchen.
