United Way Association of South Carolina (UWASC) works to maximize the capacity and effectiveness of local United Ways and provide leadership on issues that impact the quality of life of South Carolina residents. The Southwest Michigan Veterans Relief Fund (SWMVRF) is a charitable fund that provides emergency assistance and support to area veterans and their families in times of need. The fund is available to assist wartime and non-wartime veterans and is specifically intended to help veterans who might not qualify for government-funded financial relief programs.

St. Michael's Veterans Center is working to end homelessness among veterans in Kansas City and is building a vibrant community that takes care of our neighbors. We believe that having a home and being a part of a community is essential for the dignity of each individual and collectively for the vibrancy and long-term sustainability of our city.
