The Bay City Housing Commission's (BCHC) mission is to enhance the quality of life in the community through the provision and improvement of decent, safe, affordable housing programs that meet the needs of citizens. The BCHC maintains several properties for residents, including apartments available for seniors, disabled, and/or handicapped persons. All properties have health clinics scheduled with the Bay County Health Department, a food commodity program, and easy accessibility to meal/activity programs provided by other local agencies as well as transportation services.

In addition to working in neighborhoods, Life Remodeled also offers a home repair program to eligible homeowners, providing new windows, a new furnance, or a new roof as needed.
