Avalon Housing works to build safe, healthy, and inclusive supportive housing communities to combat homelessness in Washtenaw County. Avalon's supportive housing combines affordable housing with support services to help people achieve housing stability and lead healthier, productive lives. Supportive housing is geared toward people who have been chronically homeless and have behavioral and physical health challenges, including mental illness and substance use disorders. Residents have access to many individualized services including case management, advocacy, primary medical care, and after school/summer programs for youth.

Baldwin House allows active seniors to pursue more independent living, with care services including engaging activites, daily meals, housekeeping, transportation, and an on-site health care provider. With these blue wrist bands, consumers will receive unlimited savings and discounts as there is no expiration date. Bands can be purchased at The Old Pioneer Store and Mecosta County Convention & Visitors Bureau.
