Breakthrough's mission is to partner with those affected by poverty to build connections, develop skills and open doors of opportunity. It supports people through education and youth development; workforce development; housing; health and wellness; violence prevention; and spiritual formation.
Since 1991, Cara has helped people affected by poverty (and often the challenges of recovery, domestic violence, episodic homelessness, and incarceration) to get and keep quality jobs and, more importantly, rebuild hope, self-esteem and opportunity for themselves and their families in the process.
Casa Central transforms lives and offers community support, with a special focus on Hispanics. Its network of social services propels children and youth, individuals and families, and seniors toward self-sufficiency and a higher quality of life.
