Erie Neighborhood House is a human services agency rooted in the settlement house tradition, strengthening Chicago’s immigrant communities since 1870. Its mission is to empower its community—Latinx immigrants alongside individuals and families of all backgrounds—through education, access to critical services and advocacy, working together to create a just and inclusive society.
Centro de Información empowers Hispanics with the ability to effectively integrate into our greater community through the facilitation of information, education, citizenship and well-being. It is a not-for-profit social services agency that provides bilingual advocacy at our locations in Elgin, Carpentersville, and Hanover Park for more than 15,000 immigrants every year. Centro serves mostly low-income, Hispanic immigrants residing in the greater Fox Valley area, but welcomes clients of any nationality from surrounding counties and states.
