Common Pantry meets the emergency needs of its local community by providing healthy food, kinship and support to help overcome poverty-related challenges. The vision of the Common Pantry is to strengthen the capacity to provide food and services for the overall well-being of its clients. It takes a strategic, forward-thinking approach to reduce hunger and address the root causes of poverty, infusing compassion into everything it does.

The Moran Center for Youth Advocacy provides integrated legal and social work services to address the critical needs of youth and their families. The Moran Center’s services are free to qualifying individuals. Its Expungement & Sealing Help Desk at the Skokie Courthouse serves any individual with a Cook County criminal record, regardless of age or income. For all other programs, participants must (1) reside within Evanston Township; (2) be 26 or younger or a parent of a school-aged child; (3) live at or below 80% of poverty as determined by HUD.
