The First Presbyterian: Kimbark PY hosts a food pantry. Food is distributed on Thursdays from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Open Breakfast at the United Church of Hyde Park supports the needs of the hungry in the community. It serves breakfast on the last Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM in the courtyard of the church. Participants should enter from the 53rd St. gate and face masks are required.

The Kenwood United Church of Christ Soup Kitchen offers a hot breakfast and noon meal six days a week to anyone in need. Those who volunteer help prepare and serve meals. The church also hosts the Sanders free Clinic on Fridays, which provides individuals without health insurance access to a physician and a foot clinic.

The Hyde Park Kenwood Food Pantry provides non-perishable groceries, fresh produce, eggs, and frozen meat to around 400 people every month. There is also a case manager available. Boundaries are: 39th Street to 63rd Street, Cottage Grove to Lake Michigan, but it also serves the section of the 60615 zip code that extends west of Cottage Grove.

The Friendship Center fosters hope and dignity through access to food, vital resources, and critical social services. What began in the basement of North Park Covenant Church in 1970 has grown into a full-scale pantry that operates four days per week and provides groceries for 2,000 people every month. The Friendship Center serves the Chicago north-side neighborhoods of North Park, Albany Park, Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, and West Ridge.
