Lifeline Prison Ministry is an inter-denominational ministry is compromised of over 4,300 volunteers serving in all 30 state correctional facilites and all 83 county jails in the state of Michigan, who are caring, loving, non-judgemental Christians who are totally dedicated and devoted to serving broking men, women, and children who are impacted by the walls of incarceration. Some of Lifeline Prison Ministry's services include providing children of incarcerated parents gifts around Christmas time, a children's/family/inmate mentoring program, children's summer camps, animal therapy programs, a 12-step recovery program based on Christian values, family support groups, housing for male and female ex-offenders, a reentry program that can provide food/clothing/shelter/life-skills training/etc., transportation services for jail visits, a vocational program, and much more.

The Center's mission is to help children and families shape their own futures by providing comprehensive services for children and youth (ages birth to 22 years) facing behavioral and emotional challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, abuse of all kinds, and neglect; as well as those needing foster care and adoption services.
