Vitamins have dramatically improved my life (in addition to meds, NOT instead of). Vitamin D greatly reduced my irritability and vitamin B12 improved my overall mood. Mania can actually be a sign of vitamin B12 deficiency. Fish oil has also been helpful. Please do your own research and check with a doctor before trying these.
Does anyone else notice a connection between food and mood? For example, I avoid certain fast food because my mood tanks. Chick-fil-A is one of the worst for me. Looking forward to hearing from you!
